When you think of the name Mission Flight Services, emphasis can be put on the word “Services”.
In addition to running a full-catering guesthouse in Lusaka for our missionaries, we also provide services by running errands in town. Many missionaries living up-country in the “bush” do not have the opportunity to get the supplies they need. They need hardware supplies, medical supplies, groceries, etc. which are just not available where they live. For example they often need someone to go into government offices to pick up or drop off documents, or to get passports renewed. It can be very costly and time consuming for them to make the long journey to town in order to take care of some of these needs.
This is one of the reasons we are here. We desire to help our fellow servants in the Lord’s work, with whatever needs they have in support of their work in the Gospel. When the pilot flies to Lusaka, he often stays there for 1-3 nights, in order to do the business for those up-country.
