Kalene Mission

Over one hundred years ago while living in Angola, Dr. Walter and Mrs. Fisher had a burden for the Lunda people.  They trekked to what is now known as Kalene Hill.  It was there, in the middle of nowhere, that Kalene Mission was established in 1906.  Today, Kalene is still very much in “the bush”.  However, instead of taking 3 months to get there, it now takes about 3 hours to arrive from Lusaka in the small Cessna.
